Serve at cellar temperature or 15 mins. In the refrigerator

______

The wine was a deep red in the glass, almost purple.  I didn’t notice any brown coloration, suggesting it was still a very young wine.

I noticed cherries on the nose and hints of earthy tobacco.

I felt this wine was very young and could open up nicely when decanted.  It was very fruity.  It had an initial finish of spices that transformed into a more vanilla flavor afterwards.

The wine was nicely smooth, but was still a dry wine.

Rating:  I liked it

Why: I enjoyed the change in the finish, from spices to vanilla.

Will you finish the bottle: Yes.

Best way to describe this wine to a non wine drinker: It’s breathing in that first breath of cold fall air while waiting for the school bus to arrive.
